About the job

SOCIAL- og Sundhedsassistent til aftenvagtstilling på Center for Forebyggelse og Rehabilitering i Gentofte Kommune

Join the change as our rehabilitation beds become part of Region ØST as of January 1, 2027.

We are looking for a Social- and Health Care Assistant for Department S2 at the Center for Rehabilitation and Prevention in Gentofte , who wants to work with rehabilitation and complex citizen trajectories – and who also wants to be part of starting a new reality as part of the region.

With us you don’t just get a job. You become part of a professionally strong team, where we every day work together to give the citizen the best opportunities to move forward.

You will become part of a unit with 26 temporary rehabilitation places . We have citizens with neurological challenges; brain injury after stroke or traumatic, Parkinson’s, dementia, etc., depending on occupancy. It may also involve citizens with other diagnoses.

You will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team. We work across disciplines with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social- and health care assistants, nurses, a doctor, and social- and health care helpers.

Your tasks will include, among other things, the following

  • Participate in nursing-technical observations, assessments and decisions including medication management and documentation
  • Participate in care and rehabilitation of complex citizen trajectories and contribute to urgent task solutions
  • Work preventively, health-promoting and rehabilitative with the citizen’s goals at the center
  • Dialogue with the citizen and relatives about the further course

You will thus have the opportunity to use both your clinical expertise, your judgement and your collaboration skills.

Are you motivated to join a multidisciplinary citizen team where we together take on a meaningful task in the citizen’s rehabilitation journey? Then put your competencies to work, grab the opportunity and send your application to us.

We offer you

  • A thorough onboarding and ongoing professional sparring.
  • Participation in the continued development of the multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Opportunity to contribute with your ideas.

We are moving into something new

There is a lot happening with us right now.

As a result of the health reform, our area will transfer to the region on January 1, 2027, and our rehabilitation places will become health and care places. We will have closer cooperation with discharge departments in the Region.

This means new workflows, new collaboration surfaces and new systems. We will, among other things, work in the Health Platform , and we will use Optima in planning.

It’s a big change – and that is precisely why we need staff who want to join.

Is it you we are looking for?

You are educated as a Social- and Health Care Assistant and have Danish authorization.

You may already have experience with rehabilitation and neurology. Perhaps you come from another area, but want to try your hand at rehabilitation.

The most important for us is that you

  • are professionally engaged and curious
  • want to work rehabilitatively with the citizen’s goals in the center
  • thrive with cross-disciplinary collaboration
  • dare to take responsibility and bring your professional skills into play
  • see opportunities rather than limitations
  • want to contribute to good colleague relations.

Experience with nursing care for older people is an advantage.

The position averages 28 hours per week in the evening shift, currently distributed 7-7, with work in odd weeks. If this does not fit perfectly with your possibilities, please apply anyway; it may be arranged differently.

Are you curious about the job.

Come by and meet us, we would love to show you our daily life, tell you more about the work and answer the questions you have. It might be the difference.
