There is an opportunity to influence which weekend suits you best.

At Sorø Home Care we are focused on people. Both the citizens we help and the colleagues we work with. Therefore we are not just looking for a new employee, but a new colleague who wants to be part of a community where we help each other, make each other better and lift the core task together.

We work from the ideas in the Elderly Act, where holistic care and continuity are at the center. This means that we want to create coherent paths where citizens meet familiar faces and experience a daily life characterized by safety, quality and respect for their wishes and needs.

About the position

As a social and health care assistant in the evening shift you play an important role in creating good and coherent citizen pathways. You get close to the citizens and have the opportunity to make a real difference by combining care, professionalism and relationships in your work.

You will become part of an engaged team where there is room for professional discussions, sparring and humor in everyday life. We believe the best results are created when we collaborate and use each other's strengths.

Together with colleagues in home care, nursing, the therapy group and planning you work to ensure that citizens experience quality, continuity and safety in their daily lives.

Your duties could include

  • Holistic care focusing on the citizen's resources, wishes and life situation.
  • Execution of delegated health act services within your own area of competence.

We offer you in return

  • A strong collegial community where we help each other and lift together.
  • Skilled colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience.
  • A workplace with trust, openness and hands-on leadership.
  • Thorough introduction and good opportunities for professional development.
  • Opportunity to help shape the development of holistic care.
  • A company car during working hours.

Who are you

  • We imagine you are a trained social and health care assistant with authorization, but most importantly you meet people with care, respect and curiosity.
  • You can see the value in creating relationships and coherence for the citizens, and you thrive in a job where professionalism and humanity go hand in hand.
  • You take responsibility, collaborate well with others and contribute positively to the community.
  • Additionally you have a category B driving license.

Salary and employment terms

  • The position is 28 hours per week, with the possibility to supplement up to 37 hours per week.
  • Start date 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible.
