We are looking for a development-oriented, professional and strongly anchored Social and Health Assistant for predominantly night shifts

Are you highly interested in the rehabilitative approach as well as prevention, and do you want to work in a varied and exciting environment, with a high flow of citizens and challenging health care tasks, then now is the time to apply.

Kastaniegården is currently a Nursing and Rehabilitation facility with 33 temporary beds. Kastaniegården accepts citizens for further clarification of care needs, rehabilitation and health-care observations as well as interventions

As part of the health reform, this position will be transferred from Frederikshavn Municipality to Region Nordjylland on January 1, 2027.

When you apply for the position, you will therefore become part of a professional area which from 2027 will help develop and drive the new health and care facilities in Region Nordjylland. You will have the opportunity to be involved from the beginning and contribute to the development of a new health service with a focus on a nearby, cohesive and rehabilitative offer to the citizens.

The position is, as a rule, 37 hours in mixed shifts, predominantly night/evening, with every second weekend on night duty. We are very open to involving you in planning your working hours, and there is the possibility to discuss part-time. Employment as soon as possible and no later than December 1, 2026

You will become part of a strong interdisciplinary collaboration between social and health helpers, social and health assistants, a doctor, a nutrition assistant, house assistants, students, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, as well as nurses. At Kastaniegården we rely on each other to succeed in the task.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
