Social and Health Care Assistant for Sjælsø Care Centre Evening Shift

About the job. Our evening shift has chosen to seek new challenges, so we are looking for an evening shift worker who wishes to work somewhere where influence, professional development and good colleagues are the framework for a varied and exciting job in elder care. The position is in principle 37 hours per week, of which 28 hours are evening shifts, and the remaining hours are planned in collaboration with you. If you want a position with fewer hours, this is also an option.

We are a small unit with 10 somatic residents and there are 2 in the evening shift. We place great emphasis on ensuring that the residents experience high well-being with closeness and good quality of life. We work purposefully to ensure that both residents and their relatives feel safe, and therefore we always start from their individual wishes and needs.

Your primary tasks will be to perform the basic care and nursing tasks for the residents you and your colleagues are responsible for. You must plan, perform, evaluate and document the processes for the individual residents in close collaboration with your colleague. You have close collaboration with our fixed evening nurse at Sjælsø.

Furthermore, we want you to be involved in handling the many different tasks, small and large, that naturally arise in a care center where days are never the same. We depend on each other's help to succeed in creating the best possible quality of life for the residents.

Your profile You are trained as a social and health care helper and you may have a couple of years of practical experience in elder care. You are professionally skilled in caring for the frail elderly, committed and you want to get even better. You are focused on creating the best possible framework for the individual resident, are professionally curious, have good collaboration skills and show flexibility in relation to solving the tasks.

Employment in the Elderly Care Sector is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record check, which we obtain.
