About the job

Would you like to be part of a developing interdisciplinary working environment, where we every day strive for our residents to live the life they want?

At Plejehjemmet Thulebakken we are looking for a social- and health care assistant or social- and health care helper who would like to become part of our community.

About Thulebakken

Plejehjemmet Thulebakken is located centrally in Hasseris, close to Aalborg city centre and with green surroundings around us. Thulebakken has a total of 72 beds, of which 48 are somatic beds and 24 dementia beds. The nursing home is built on two floors and consists of three houses: House 2, House 4 and House 20. The three houses together contain six living units, of which one is reserved for residents with dementia.

We are around 70 dedicated employees with different professional backgrounds. Here, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care helpers, nurses, flex workers and junior workers work closely together on the core task. We prioritise good collaboration with our nursing home doctors and other interdisciplinary partners. We are also open to new ideas and new thinking – always with the residents’ well-being and quality of life as the starting point.

We also have several volunteers who visit Thulebakken and, among other things, create good moments together with some of our residents. Here, the resident is at the centre.

We prioritise both the lived and the living life in a homely and safe environment. We work from a rehabilitative mindset with a focus on helping self-help, so that each resident has the opportunity to preserve as much independence as possible and do what makes sense in daily life.
