We are seeking a social- and health care assistant for predominantly evening shifts. The position is within the 24/7 area and primarily in evening shifts with weekend work about every 2nd or 3rd weekend.

As a social- and health care assistant, you will be an important part of our evening team. You should help create safe and home-like surroundings for the residents and at the same time actively bring your health-care knowledge into play.

The evening shift requires both independence and collaboration. You must be able to create an overview of your own tasks, stay calm when something unexpected arises, and at the same time be flexible when residents' needs change. • You are educated as a social- and health care assistant.
• You work independently, structured and with a secure professional view of the tasks.
• You can create an overview and stay calm, even when the evening does not go exactly as planned.
• You have a health-promoting and preventive mindset and can translate your professionalism into action.
• You take responsibility for documentation and the professional follow-up on the residents' needs.
• You can actively participate in a multidisciplinary collaboration and contribute with your own professionalism.
• You base yourself on the resident's wishes, autonomy and well-being.
• You have an eye for both the health care task and the person in front of you.
• You want to create homeliness, joy, security and star moments for our residents.
• You are curious, creative and eager to learn and develop both yourself and our practice.

• You have basic IT skills and can work with electronic documentation.

About the department

Kristiansgården is a small care home in Beder with community, warmth and homeliness.

As a new employee at Kristiansgården you quickly notice that every day we focus on being here for the residents. We take our starting point in each individual's well-being and needs and work to ensure residents experience meaning, autonomy and influence in daily life.

It makes something very special for the community at Kristiansgården that we are a smaller care home. Everyone – residents and staff – know each other, and we place great emphasis on community. We are known for a good and welcoming atmosphere that exudes coziness and homeliness.

Here there is the scent of home-baked goods, flowers on the tables, songs in the dining room, and we regularly have visits from pets and neighborhood children. We closely follow the changing seasons both on trips out, from the windows and in our lovely garden.

We are an Eden Alternative©-registered care home. Specifically, that means we focus on well-being for both residents and staff. At Kristiansgården we are together in the good everyday life. Residents are included in decisions and planning, and we go far to ensure what they want happens.

Kristiansgården has 24 apartments, all with their own garden. We have a large shared dining room adjoining a kitchen, where the meal is an important part of the community and daily life.

We have a good collaboration with the local community in Beder and are enriched with wonderful volunteers who help create star moments for Kristiansgården's residents. Kindergartens and school classes are invited to visit, and we enjoy how the meeting between generations creates joy for both young and old.

As the principal I am proud to feel how there is room every day for the individual resident and their wishes and needs. Our community, warmth and homeliness make Kristiansgården a care home where life can be lived every day.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is to be started on 1.12.2026 or by agreement.

Salary and terms of employment according to applicable collective agreement and after concrete negotiation with the representing trade organization.

Weekly hours: 37 hours.
