About the job
CNN works with assessment and rehabilitation of the neurological patient at a specialized level. We have a regional function and receive adult patients with moderate to severe sequelae after brain injury due to trauma, stroke or similar adjacent disorders. With us, the core task is assessment and rehabilitation of the neurological patient in phase 2. We provide nursing at a high professional level with a strong multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral focus.
We have for several years worked on increasing competencies among staff, and many of our SSA staff are trained in medication dispensing, ward rounds, etc., which means that we primarily work with allocated patient care.
In rehabilitation, we work with the patient’s physical, psychological, communicative, and social resources. We work from neuroplastic principles and base goals for rehabilitation on the patient’s wishes and needs when setting targets. We have structured inclusive conversations with the patient, and have an environment that includes shared activities in daily life.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, SSA, secretary, neuropsychologists, social worker, speech therapist, occupational and physiotherapists.
CNN has space for 23 patients, who are admitted on average 36 days.
We work with individual introduction depending on experience and competencies.
We are seeking a social- and health care assistant who
- Has experience with neurorehabilitation
- Is able to value and handle highly multidisciplinary collaboration around the individual patient
- Is open and welcoming in dialogue with patients, relatives, partners and colleagues
- Wants to work with both the basic and the complex nursing
You will experience in the position
- Joint introduction at the hospital and introduction to the specialty in the department
- That your assessment carries great weight in the multidisciplinary assessment of the individual patient
- Close collaboration with colleagues and ample opportunity to develop your nursing professional competencies with a challenging somatic complex patient category
- That professionalism, coherence and quality for the patients are given high priority
- A visible and open leadership with focus on the working environment and development
- A lively educational environment with nursing students and social- and health care assistant students
