Plejecenter Østermarken is seeking a social- and health care assistant with a large amount of empathy, professionalism, professional care and humor.

In our dementia ward two days are rarely the same. You will have the opportunity to help shape daily life on the residents' terms and contribute to strengthening their sense of security, autonomy and quality of life.

Job description The position is a fixed-term sick leave and maternity leave vacancy with the possibility of subsequent permanent employment. The position is primarily daytime shifts with evening shifts by arrangement. The number of hours will be agreed upon.

Work can be expected every other weekend.

About the department Plejecenter Østermarken has two dementia wards that are connected to one another. There live 11 and 9 residents respectively in the two units.

The staff group consists of social- and health care aides, social- and health care assistants and pedagogues. We work closely across professions and units to create a safe, dignified and meaningful daily life for the residents.

The individual resident's needs, wishes, resources and life history are the starting point for our effort.

Dine opgaver Your tasks: You shall among other things

• manage care and nursing tasks based on the individual resident's needs and resources
• support residents' quality of life, autonomy and sense of security
• observe changes in residents' condition and act in a professionally relevant manner
• document and relay relevant observations
• contribute to structure, familiarity and coherence in residents' daily lives
• collaborate with residents, relatives, colleagues and other professional groups
• actively participate in the professional and collegial community.
