Social educator or occupational therapist for temporary residential facility Støberiet

Botilbud Støberiet is a social-psychiatric temporary housing and training facility under the Danish Service Act §107 for citizens between 18 and 40 years with psychiatric and social challenges. We are a 24/7, interdisciplinary residential facility where we work from a recovery-oriented rehabilitative perspective. Right now we are looking for new colleagues who want to contribute to a professional culture where the citizens’ own goals, wishes and resources are the starting point for the effort.

Your role and the job

As an employee at Støberiet you will have an important role in the cooperation with the citizens on their path toward a more independent life. You support, motivate and guide, but it is the citizen’s own goals, wishes and resources that set the direction.

You will, together with the citizen, support clarification, development and training of the skills that can strengthen the possibilities to master everyday life and live an independent life.

The job is a full-time position with day and evening shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays. There may be occasional night shifts when covering. Weekend work is every 3rd weekend.

Your primary tasks will include, among other things

• Engage in relationship work and create safe and developing collaborations with the citizens
• Support the citizens in working with their own goals, wishes and dreams
• Contribute to the recovery-oriented rehabilitative effort with a focus on coping and independence
• Document and follow up on interventions and goals
• Collaborate with colleagues, relatives and partners
