About the workplace
Center for Families is an institution in the child and family area.
All interventions at Center for Families aim to develop the children and families towards the good general life.
Our professional and theoretical basis is broad and starts from systemic and narrative thinking.
Center for Families handles many interventions, including preventive offers, family therapy – both outpatient and in residential care – family counseling support, placement in foster families and at children and youth homes as well as support stays in day and residential facilities.
The resources of the child, the youth and the family form the basis for treatment, activities and learning in interaction with staff.
Principles that cooperation with the young person should take place close to home, in the network and be documented and measurable, shall form the basis for the work at Center for Families.
Department Hyblerne is located in Rødekro, Byskoven 22 and is a 24/7 residential facility for youths between 14 and 23 with special needs.
Hyblerne is situated in a housing association and is equipped with 6 single rooms with own bathroom and toilet, common living room and office. The youths join a community, where they, together with staff, must cooperate to make daily life in Hyblerne hang together.

About the job
The youths placed in Hyblerne need help and support in everyday life, both for planned tasks, e.g. medical visits, follow-up meetings, bank appointments, supportive conversations and ADL training.
The department houses 6 youths, whom you, together with your colleagues, shall help and support in developing towards a stable and good adult life – as close to the general as possible. That means that schooling and work are given high priority when we work with the youths, and we have an expectation that our young people are either in employment, or willing to cooperate towards working towards it.
We place high value on the sense of community in the department, and as staff you would be running house meetings where the voices of the youths are heard and taken seriously. The youths have a cooking day each week, and you as staff will be the facilitator to support the youths in making a meal plan, shopping and finally making dinner for all residents of the house.
You will, in addition to the youth's family, have a close collaboration with child- and youth counselors, schools, private practicing doctors, psychiatry, psychologists, Early Prevention and others who can bring the child/youth forward in development.
