About the job

Help grow Danske Pickleballers, with the possibility of a paid role afterwards

Want to make content people actually watch, meet the people behind it, and see your work bring new players onto the court?

Danske Pickleballers is actively looking for a social media and content intern. We're growing our community and developing our home at Tunnel Arena in Nordhavn. There are stories to tell: first-time players, great rallies, club characters, tournaments and everything that goes into building a sports club.

If you do a great job and we're a good fit, we can hire you after the internship. That could mean a paid student position or another paid role, agreed together. The internship itself is an unpaid educational placement, arranged with your study programme.

What you'll work on

Film and edit short videos for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Turn sessions, matches and events into stories that make people want to join.

Interview players and bring out the personalities in our community.

Help plan our content calendar, develop recurring formats and write captions.

Track what connects with people and use those lessons in the next round of content.

Bring your own ideas and help shape how the club shows up online.

What you'll get

Real work for your portfolio, room to experiment, and direct support from Max de Groot. We'll agree on learning goals, give you regular feedback and work with your programme's internship requirements. You'll practice the whole process, from an idea and a shoot to editing, publishing and evaluating the result.

You don't need to know pickleball. We'll introduce you to the game and the people, and you get to play too.

Who we're looking for

You're studying communication, marketing, multimedia design, film, journalism or a related subject, with an internship as part of your programme. You enjoy making social content, can shoot and edit video, and feel comfortable approaching people. A phone and a good eye are a great starting point. We work in English.

Practical details

Based in Copenhagen, with filming at Tunnel Arena and club activities, and flexibility for remote editing.

Start, duration and weekly hours agreed around your programme, including autumn 2026 or spring 2027.

Unpaid educational placement. Your study program must approve the arrangement.

How to apply

Send a few lines about yourself, your placement requirements and 1-3 examples of your work to [email protected].

We're interviewing now and will close when we find the right person.
