About the job

Now you can become a central part of Viaplay's entertainment universe. As Social Media Project Manager you will be responsible for running and developing our social channels. You do this in close collaboration with our Social Media Lead, your closest colleagues in the Digital Content team as well as the MarCom team and the program department.

Your tasks

• Produce, edit and publish content for our social channels. You must be able to conceive and execute social-first content that supports our biggest program universes, create attention for new film and series titles and strengthen our already strong relationship with followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
• Find the moments everyone will be talking about. You identify the strongest and most relevant sequences from our programs and transform them into engaging, vertical short-form videos that our fans simply must see.
• Develop creative launch plans , where social media is a central part of activating around our reality programs, films and series – before, during and after the premiere.
• Spot trends and tendencies before our competitors , so we continue to be a leader in the industry when it comes to engagement and strong communities.

What the role requires

• You have several years of experience creating content and can show a multitude of successful cases
• You know the algorithms inside out. You know what makes content perform on social media, and you naturally think in reels, hooks and thumbnails.
• You can edit quickly and efficiently in Premiere Pro.
• You can work independently and take responsibility for projects from idea to execution.
• You love reality, film and series. But especially reality!
• You thrive in an unpredictable, fast-paced day where the most important task can suddenly come in from the right.
• You have a positive and infectious energy and enjoy collaborating with talented colleagues – both those who share the same field and those who do something completely different.
