About the job

As a social- and health care assistant in the night shift you will be an important part of the daily care and support for our residents. The position is an assistant role, where you work closely with your colleagues to ensure a safe and cohesive night.

You will have a fixed base in the care homes and join a team consisting of you, a social- and health care helper and a nurse. With few exceptions, there are always 3 on duty at night, so there are good opportunities for professional sparring.

Your tasks will include

• Holistic care and assistance with a rehabilitative and person-centered approach
• Create safe and calm environments for residents during the night hours
• Observation and attention to changes in residents' condition
• Documentation and follow-up on agreed interventions
• Preventive care and support for residents' wellbeing
• Collaboration and professional sparring with the night shift team
• Dialogue with relatives when the situation requires it

Digterparken consists of 70 nursing homes. We have our own kitchens and are beautifully located in a forested setting. You will become part of an interdisciplinary collaboration with, among others, social- and health care assistants and helpers, nurses, therapists, nutrition and cleaning assistants, planners, janitors and students.
