We are seeking social- or health-care professionals for a dynamic and well-functioning residence in Adult Disability.

We are looking for new colleagues for a small team around a new resident who is moving into our well-functioning residential facility. You will primarily have your relationship with a single citizen, but in close collaboration with other colleagues and the other residents, as you become part of a dynamic house.

We expect that the resident will benefit from the support of a small familiar team in calm and structured surroundings. We expect the team to continuously initiate valuable actions, as well as frame and regulate daily life, since we have experienced that the resident may have challenges with self-regulation and impulse control, which can manifest as inappropriate behavior. Therefore we are looking for a new colleague who can see themselves in a structured approach, where we work in a joint direction.

We focus on supporting the residents to live meaningful and independent adult lives, through structure, security, resource-focused and appreciative pedagogy, as well as meaningful activities. The six residents in the house are between 20 and 30 years old, so you will become part of a community that is both fun and caring, where the relationship with the residents is in focus. In terms of personal hygiene, there are few residents in the house who need guidance and less support.

We use neuro-pedagogical-, resource-focused-, and appreciative approaches, social stories, LA2U and KRAP. There will be opportunities for training and education in these approaches.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a professionally grounded, caring, patient, and flexible person who thrives in creating a safe and developing everyday life for the resident. We see experience as an advantage, but it is not a requirement. The most important is your view of the person and your ability to see the person behind every behavior.

Working hours

The team will provide support to the resident from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. So you will have both day shifts and evening shifts distributed across all days of the week. You will work on average every 3rd weekend. Holidays, vacations, and Christmas are planned separately.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement and are set according to qualifications and negotiations with the relevant union. The position is initially 37 hours per week.

Employment from December 1 or as soon as possible thereafter.
