Adults' Center Ristolahaven seeks a social educator/health educator for Damgårdshus

At Damgårdshus life is simplified through rhythmic repetitions, so residents feel competent in their own lives. Here seven residents live with their own speech actions. They are together and each on their own. Depending on the moment and their individual resources, they move in and out of the social and practical life in the house. The starting point is the anthroposophic view of humanity - that people unfold themselves in the meeting with the outer world, through THOUGHT, FEELING and WILL. By supporting each person’s psychological possibilities, the path opens to balance and participation in the community.

We are looking for a Social- or Healthpedagogue; with a desire for further qualification, who can support the residents in the dynamics of their differences and bring each person’s knowledge into play.

Your primary task will be to BELIVE LIFE for the residents in their daily-, weekly- and yearly-rhythm, and via documentation convey the professionally meaningful for people with unique languages.

You will help create DAILY EXPERIENCES and INTERNAL MOOD PICTURES, as the narrative that carries the residents’ mastery of life. You should have an eye for the smallest details and CONNECT with the present opportunities. You should TRULY WANT the relationship that makes a difference. With us, relationship comes before communication and moods speak louder than words.

Your pedagogical work with us will range from aesthetics and morning songs to practical chores and personal care. You will accompany residents to, for example, doctors, cultural experiences; concerts and theater internally and externally, at shared meals and music cafes in Ristolahaven and seasonal events in the Marjatta community.

When a person experiences recognizable RYTHMS in all contexts, understandability, life competence, meaningfulness and a coherent thread in the life history are created.

Damgårdshus is a §108 residential offer and is one of six houses in Ristolahaven, which is one of Marjatta’s four adult centers. Ristolahaven is beautifully located on Bækkeskovstræde close to Præstø Fjord.

Salary and employment: The position is 32 hours with start date 1 November 2026. Employment and salary placement are according to the regional agreement for social pedagogical staff and Marjatta’s locally agreed advance agreements.

Starting salary for employees under the agreement: Marjatta is bound by the operating agreement with Region Zealand to inform you of the starting salary for the position. You will be informed of base salary, centrally fixed allowances and pension under the relevant agreement. In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
