About the job

Would you like to work somewhere where relationships, reflection and rehabilitation are at the core of social-pedagogical work?

At Skovvænget we are looking for a trained social pedagogue who wants to work professionally grounded with people who live with complex psychological, social and health-related challenges – often combined with substance use problems.

With us, we highly prioritise the social-pedagogical professionalism and work purposefully and structured to develop the quality of our practice. We believe that high professionalism is created through reflection, method awareness, relational work and strong multidisciplinary collaboration.

About Skovvænget

Skovvænget is a regional social-psychiatric housing and rehabilitation provision for adults. We have 30 residences and about 45 employees with different professional backgrounds.

Skovvænget's professional foundation is psychosocial rehabilitation, recovery and an Open Dialogue and network-based approach, where the resident is always at the center. At the same time, we are developing our efforts, and we expect to be able to offer social substance use treatment at Skovvænget as an integrated part of our rehabilitative work by the end of 2026.

At Skovvænget we are working to strengthen the quality and coherence of the social-pedagogical work, the health care interventions and the living environment our residents inhabit day-to-day. Skovvænget's quality work is therefore organised in three interconnected tracks:

  • Social-pedagogical quality
  • Health care quality
  • Quality in daily life

With us you will get

  • A strong professional environment with room for reflection and sparring
  • Introductory program and mentor scheme
  • Supervision, courses and continuing education
  • Influence and professional autonomy
  • Committed colleagues with high social-professional competence
  • A workplace where residents' autonomy and dignity are fundamental
  • Opportunity to help develop the social-pedagogical quality and professional directions at the offering

We believe that quality in social-pedagogical work is created in community. Therefore we are seeking a colleague who can work independently and at the same time contribute actively to shared reflection and collaboration.

At Skovvænget we prioritise a professional culture where we are curious about each other's perspectives, dare to reflect on practice, and take joint responsibility for the quality of the work.

We are seeking a colleague who

  • Is committed to relational and social-pedagogical work
  • Can stand in the difficult together with the residents
  • Wants professional reflection and development
  • Sees people's hopes, resources and potentials – even when they themselves have difficulty seeing it
  • Is tolerant, flexible and can maintain an overview
  • Can create security, even in an unpredictable everyday life
  • Has a positive and curious approach to the target group

As a social-pedagogue you will among other things

  • Support residents’ well-being, mastery and participation in everyday life
  • Work professionally with the individual resident's resources and needs
  • Contribute to professional reflections, documentation and development of the efforts

You will become an important part of the residents' daily lives and an active co-creator of our shared professional practice. You contribute to ensuring quality, reflection and development in the efforts around the individual resident. The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, management and relevant partners. With us you are never alone, we lift the task together.

Working hours
