Støttecenteret Magneten is seeking a social-pedagogical counsellor

Støttecenteret is a service for adult citizens over 30 years old in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The Support Center provides support and guidance according to §82, §85 and §79/104 to a broad group of citizens living in their own homes, as well as participates in our club offers in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The target group includes, among others, citizens with developmental disabilities, post-stroke, autism, ADHD and dementia. Several citizens have additional diagnoses such as anxiety, OCD, substance misuse, etc.

We are looking for a new employee for 37 hours per 1 December 2026, as an employee of 42 years has chosen to retire.

We need an employee who has knowledge within our specialist area, as we have many citizens with many different challenges.

As a counsellor, you will provide support and guidance in the citizen's own home, in groups and in the Support Center's premises. You will work both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues. The guidance currently takes place on weekdays, primarily in the hours 08-20, and weekend work about every 5th weekend. Working hours on weekdays are flexible with a focus on when the citizens need support, so it is expected that your approach to work is flexible.

The Support Center also houses an activity and socializing offer, Klub Magneten, and we share the responsibility for covering this, where you as a rule have the same fixed club evening each week if you take on the task.

We are working, among other things, on further developing our §85 support, to create more group programs based on each citizen's goals and resources. We are also working to develop our professional methodological approach, which today is based on KRAP, supplemented with the autism pilot, neuro-pedagogy, neuropsychology, Low Arousal, Open Dialogue, as well as other professionally relevant methods, and we also offer NADA.

We expect that you

• Have relevant experience with pedagogical work for citizens with special needs
• Have a relevant professional education
• Are able to work flexibly and independently
• Are willing to reflect on your own practice, both alone and with colleagues
• Can distinguish between must and can tasks, and prioritize accordingly
• Contribute to task solving in the unit, and take on your share of tasks, including practical tasks.
• Participate in citizen-oriented events, outings and holidays
• Are responsible and loyal to task solving and agreements
• Willing to share your knowledge

If you have experience with the following or parts of it, it would be a plus

• Experience with citizens with Autism/ADHD, anxiety, OCD and/or brain injury
• Knowledge of KRAP and Open Dialogue
• Experience with group guidance within the target group
• Experience with teaching

Lønn - and employment terms in accordance with applicable collective agreement, and according to local salary formation principles.
