About the job
Are you a structured educator with a passion for professional development, documentation and implementation? Would you like to help bridge theory and practice and make the pedagogical work measurable and visible? Then you may be the person we are looking for at Holstedgaard.
About the position
Holstedgaard is an independent, self-governing institution, which for many years has experienced positive growth. We are located in Næstved and accommodate 69 residents with various diagnoses within the psychiatric field. In addition to this, many of our residents also have complex somatic illnesses. All our residents share that they, as a starting point, are not outwardly aggressive.
As part of our development we face increasing demands for documentation, follow-up and the methodological use of pedagogical principles. To meet these demands and raise our professional standard even further, we are now creating a completely new position. As our new quality and development pedagogue, you will, in close collaboration with management, help create a visible and structured approach that qualifies the social-pedagogical work. The overall starting point for your work will be the Socialtilsynet's quality model and the full implementation of KRAP .
The position is predominantly administrative and strategic, but as a professional beacon we expect you to lead by example in practice. You should be able to support staff in pressured situations or take over tasks when needed.
Your core tasks
- Practice reflection: You support professional reflection and sparring among your colleagues, so theory and everyday practice are naturally connected.
- Systematic and measurable evaluation: You use evaluation tools (e.g., KRAP) to assess, measure and make visible the pedagogical work, so the quality becomes observable and discussable within the staff group.
- Implementation in everyday life: You ensure that Socialtilsynet's quality model and KRAP are translated into living, meaningful everyday practice for both residents and staff.
- Competence development: You drive professional development programs, initiate new initiatives and function as instructor and facilitator through mentoring, small groups and larger contexts.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: You work closely at the intersection of the pedagogical and health care staff (including our health care quality and development nurse), management and external partners such as housing team and municipalities.
Who are you?
We imagine that you are a trained educator with a strong methodological toolkit and a desire to lead in professional change processes.
We would like you to
- Have knowledge of the Socialtilsynet's quality model and experience in making pedagogical work measurable and visible – both internally and to regulatory authorities.
- Have experience with implementing pedagogical initiatives and be able to work systematically, structurally and purposefully, with an appreciative approach.
- Thrive in the role of communicator and educator, whether at a staff meeting or through on-the-job training.
- Have a recovery-oriented view of humanity, where the resident's well-being, self-determination and quality of life are always central.
- Have knowledge of the KRAP method (this is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement, as long as you are willing to acquire the method and drive it forward).
- Driver's license: It is not a must, but an advantage in everyday life.
You’ll also get from us
- A wonderful group of residents , an informal staff culture focused on development, humor and joy, as well as regular external supervision.
- Benefits : Internal upskilling, health insurance, access to the gym, educational meals, as well as exciting staff events and real Christmas gifts (no honey hearts!).
Working hours and framework
As a rule, the position does not include fixed weekends, holidays or night shifts, and you will plan your own schedule within a fixed framework. We expect you to work with us for between 25 and 37 hours, mainly daytime hours.
Criminal record
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record certificate. Employment can only commence once the certificate has been obtained.
