About the job

Are you happy to use your professional expertise where it really makes a difference? We are looking for social pedagogues for our fixed teams – and we hope you are one of them.

For us it is about being present for Lyngdal's residents who need special support. Whether you are a newly graduated or have several years of experience, it matters little. What we really value is that you are curious about the profession and want to learn together with us.

About Lyngdal

We are home to 24 adults with autism spectrum disorders and intellectual disability, who thrive best with a daily life that is predictable: Predictable, structured and with plenty of activity.

We are also a workplace for 165 employees who collaborate across the board, laugh a lot during a shift and like to do things properly.

Lyngdal is a highly specialized §104 and §108 holistic offer with 1:1 staffing. We live in green surroundings by Rude Forest in Birkerød, so we go many walks and cycle a lot.

About you

  • You are educated as a pedagogue
  • You may have experience from the special needs area, for example with residents with autism spectrum disorders, but the most important is your willingness to take on new tasks
  • You can help and support the individual towards a predictable and structured everyday life, and you are comfortable also helping with personal care when necessary
  • You have solid professionalism and are good at collaborating
  • You are active and happy to participate when there are walks, cycling and swimming with the residents
  • You have a driving license and are comfortable using it.

You don’t need to be able to do everything from day one

We’ll train you as you go. You will become part of a fixed team with both new and experienced colleagues around you, and you’ll receive supervision, courses and access to our own diploma education in special pedagogy.

We offer

  • Skilled and engaged colleagues you will get close to in a fixed team
  • Day and evening shifts spread over the days of the week, with every second or every fourth weekend
  • Courses, supervision and our internal diploma education in special pedagogy
  • A daily life where you are close to each resident's life and development
  • 1:1 staffing, which provides room for really good pedagogical immersion.
