At the Department of Urology at Herlev Hospital we are seeking a social- & health care assistant who thrives in a specialty with high professionalism, strong collegiality and plenty of development opportunities.

With us you won’t get the chance to stand still.

One day you follow a patient through a complex cancer pathway. The next you welcome an acute sepsis patient or help a patient safely home just a few hours after surgery.

Who are we?

We are divided into 6 teams

Kidney

Prostate

Urothelium

OBS team with intermediate placements for the most complex and acute patients

Short-stay Surgical Ward (KKA), where patients are prepared for operation and discharged the same day

We receive about 15 acute patients per day and discharge daily 40-50 % of our patients. Therefore we are looking for you who can keep an overview, communicate clearly and thrive when things are moving fast.

Experience from surgery, internal medicine, emergency care or the primary sector is an advantage but not required.
