Social work professional sought for Den Blå Gård, Naturgruppen and Botilbuddet Arendalsvej

Do you want to help create meaningful everyday lives for citizens with special needs through community, development and activities in nature?

We are looking for an engaged and relationship-building social work professional for a permanent position of 37 hours per week, where you become part of both Den Blå Gård, Naturgruppen and participate in work at Botilbuddet Arendalsvej every 3rd weekend.

The position provides a unique opportunity to work across services and support citizens' development, well-being and participation in everyday life.

About the position

Your primary working hours will be connected to Den Blå Gård, Naturgruppen, where you, together with colleagues and citizens, create meaningful activities rooted in nature, community and the individual citizen's resources.

Nature Group focuses on activities in and around nature, where physical activity (walks), community and meaningful experiences are at the centre. Activities are planned based on the citizens' individual needs and resources and largely include elements of sensory processing and sensory stimulation. The sounds, smells, materials and movement of nature are actively used to create well-being, calm, development and meaningful experiences for each citizen.

In Naturgruppen the target group are citizens with significant and lasting cognitive functional impairment. Citizens need support and guidance in all everyday tasks, from toilet visits and personal care to meals and participation in activities. Therefore it is expected that you as an employee are patient, present and adaptable, as days do not always unfold as planned.

It is an advantage, but not a requirement, that you have experience with or interest in autism understanding, structured pedagogy, KRAP and neuro-pedagogy. In addition, we would like you to have an interest in music and be able to use this as part of the interaction and activities with the citizens.

Additionally you will participate in the pedagogical work at Botilbuddet Arendalsvej every 3rd weekend, where the focus is on supporting the citizens' independence, well-being and a good everyday life.

You will become part of a professionally strong environment where teamwork, reflection and development are highly valued.
