SocialNetværket continues to grow and is therefore seeking engaged social work professionals for roles as a contact person and/or a substitute in the home in the children and youth area.

The position will primarily be linked to the children and youth area, but there will also be opportunities to carry out social-pedagogical interventions in the adult area.

About the work

As an employee you will be assigned individually tailored interventions based on the needs, resources and development goals of the child or the young person.

The target group can include children and young people with mental, social, cognitive or developmental challenges. For example, this can include children and young people with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, attachment difficulties or need for special support for structure, regulation and social relationships.

The tasks can include

• Contact person tasks with a focus on relationship, well-being and development
• Substitution in the home and support for the child, the young person and the family
• Support for structure, predictability and meaningful activities
• Support for emotional regulation, social skills and conflict management
• Guidance and motivation in relation to school, education, leisure and networks
• Collaboration with parents, authorities, school and other professionals
• Development of professional documentation based on the aims and sub-goals of the intervention

In the adult area, tasks can include social-pedagogical support under the Danish Social Services Act § 85 focusing on mastery, structure, development and maintenance of skills.

Depending on the concrete intervention, we work with

• Structural-pedagogical and cognitive methods
• Relational pedagogy and co-regulation

We prioritise continuity and work, as a rule, with smaller, fixed teams around the individual child, the young person or the adult. This creates recognition, security and good conditions for the relational work.

We are looking for you who

• Have a relevant social science education, for example as a pedagogue, social worker or occupational therapist
• Would preferably have experience from the children and youth area
• Understand working with children and young people with special support needs
• Can create a safe and professional relationship with both the child or the young person and the family
• Are willing to also undertake interventions in the adult area
• Can work independently and at the same time collaborate loyally and constructively in a team
• Are professionally reflective and can translate intervention goals into concrete pedagogical practice
• Can document precisely, respectfully and professionally
• Are stable, responsible and flexible
• Have a driving license and the possibility to use your own car in the work

It is important that you can remain calm in complex situations, meet the families respectfully and be curious about the perspective of the child, the young person or the adult.

About working hours

Working hours are flexible and will depend on the concrete interventions. Part of the work in the children and youth area typically takes place in the afternoon, evening and on weekends, while interventions in the adult area can also be daytime.

The position can be composed across several interventions and target groups.
