About the job

Do you want to use your social work and pedagogical professionalism where the relationship really matters? And are you motivated to work with people who need a different framework than the traditional?

Then you could be our new social-work staff member at De Skæve Boliger, which is part of Lunde Forsorgshjem under Den Socialfaglige Organisation.

An offering in development

De Skæve Boliger is a social-work residential service under the Danish Service Act §107 and §108 for people with complex social challenges. Residents may, among other things, live with mental health difficulties, substance abuse issues and experience of long-term homelessness.

We are a developing offering and have ambitions to expand with more residents in 2027. Therefore we are looking for a social-work staff member who brings a strong pedagogical professional competence and would like to help lift daily life and develop the offering.

With us, the work is about meeting the individual where they are. To build trust and together find ways to more structure, stability, mastery and quality of life.

De Skæve Boliger is not a care or health offering. The work therefore does not include personal care, nursing tasks or medication management.

Your most important tasks

As a social-work staff member you will become the contact person for a number of residents and play an important role in their daily life.

You will among other things

  • Build and maintain trustful relationships with the residents
  • Support the individual in structure, daily life mastery and practical tasks
  • Work pedagogically with well-being, development and prevention of distress
  • Prepare plans, status descriptions and professional documentation
  • Accompany and support residents in contact with authorities and other partners
  • Coordinate actions with authorities, treatment centers and other actors
  • Actively contribute to professional reflection, sparring and development of our pedagogical practice

We are looking for someone who

  • Is educated as a pedagogue or has another relevant social-work education
  • Has solid pedagogical experience and preferably experience from §107 or §108 areas
  • Willing to have experience with social psychiatry, substance misuse issues or the homelessness sector
  • Has strong relationship skills and can establish contact, even when it requires time and patience
  • Can work independently while actively using colleagues for sparring
  • Can remain calm and maintain professional standards in complex and unpredictable situations
  • Can set clear and professional boundaries with respect for the individual
  • Works structurally with goals, documentation and follow-up
  • Is curious, reflective and eager to develop their own and our shared professional practice

We place emphasis on you standing secure in your professional practice, but also being curious about the person behind the behavior. You know that development does not always occur in a straight line, and that small progress can have great significance.

A professional community with clear values

In The Social Work Organization we work according to five values: respect, inclusion, well-being, community and professionalism.

For us, the values must be tangible in practice. In the meeting with the residents, in our collaboration with each other and in the professional decisions we make.

You will become part of a workplace where we prioritize professional reflection, sparring and supervision. We want to develop ourselves and become even better, and therefore there is also room for you to bring your experiences, perspectives and ideas.

And although our work is serious, there should also be room for humor and a good collegial community.

About The Social Work Organization

The Social Work Organization is a nationwide organization that runs residential facilities, crisis centers and care homes. A common thread across our offerings is the wish to create safe spaces and high-quality social-work interventions for people with diverse and often complex needs.

Practical information

The position is a permanent full-time position with shift work between 7:00 and 23:00. There is work every third weekend as well as on holidays.

It is a requirement that you have a category B driving license and can present a satisfactory criminal record.

Application deadline is no later than 19 October 2026.

We hire on an ongoing basis if we meet the right candidate. The final interviews will be held in the last week of October, and we aim to hire by 1 December 2026.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the daily manager Inu at telephone 41 95 80 07 on weekdays between 10:00 and 14:00.

Can you see yourself in a job where high professionalism, strong relationships and respect for the individual go hand in hand? Then we look forward to hearing from you.
