At Tornbjerggård we are one large unit with three houses on the premises. For each house there is a cross-disciplinary team of 12 - 14 staff who work closely together, but also support the community and tasks across the entire house.

We have 42 beds and the target group are residents with severe mental illnesses, many with dual or triple diagnoses such as substance use (addiction) and/or somatic problems.

Recovery-oriented rehabilitation is the common frame of reference in our multidisciplinary collaboration, where we work focused on ensuring that all residents are in development – even if it is very small steps. We see it as our foremost task to promote residents’ opportunities to live as independently and meaningfully as possible, and therefore we always start from the resident’s dreams, challenges and resources. We employ, among other things, motivational interviewing, systemic-narrative approach, network conversations based on open dialogue, SI, neuropedagogy and low arousal as methods in our work.

We offer

  • A wonderful and diverse group of residents.
