Do you have social pedagogical experience from residential facilities and are you passionate about creating development, quality of life and opportunities for people with autism - then we are looking for a social educator who is professionally curious and who wants to go the extra mile to spot talents.

We work with people with autism in a specialized autism service with 12 residents, of which two require special arrangements. We believe that it is our task to be curious about the individual person, to understand their perspective.

Our core task is: ”all citizens are surrounded by positive and listening people, where they experience daily successes through maximal unleashing of their talents”

This is an ambition we carry into daily life at Kronely. We work systematically to understand what gives meaning to the individual citizen. We work in collaboration with the citizens to create a structure, without making the world smaller for the individual, and when we see a talent, an interest or an opportunity, we have the courage to pursue it.

Therefore we are looking for a colleague who wants to think along, ask questions and help develop our professionalism. A person who dares to be curious, someone who can see resources and who knows that small steps forward are sometimes the greatest.

We imagine that

• you are trained social educator and have experience from residential facilities
• you see behavior as communication and are focused on what lies behind
• you can create predictability, safety and development opportunities – even when reality requires something different from the plan
• you can work independently, but at the same time view professional sparring as an important part of the task
• you don’t need to know everything about autism, but you want to understand more
• you are the type who can stay calm in difficult times and at the same time insist that there is room for humor, joy, development and dreams
• you may have knowledge of working with LA2 as a method to understand the inside perspective.

Salary and employment terms

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

A criminal record check will be obtained upon employment. Employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of any notes of significance for performing the specific position.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

The position is 37 hours. According to the municipality's HR policy, there can be a dialogue about individual preferences for flexibility in working hours and organization of work.

Start date December 1, 2026 – or as soon as possible thereafter.
