Make a difference in the lives of six citizens

Then you might be the social educator we are looking for!

About the citizens and the department

Solstrålen gr. C is a protected social-pedagogical unit in accordance with the Danish Social Services Act §§108 and 85. Here live six adults with permanently reduced physical and/or mental function levels. The citizens need support for:

• Social relationships and everyday tasks
• Personal care and care
• Medication management
• A structured and calm everyday life with adapted stimuli

Some have dual diagnoses. We use Sign Language.

Pedagogical approach

We work from an appreciative and resource-focused approach, with focus on

• Low/High Arousal and conflict de-escalation
• Citizen perspective with emphasis on:
• Health and daily activity
• Well-being and relationships
• Education and employment
• Independence and initiative

We are well underway with implementing KRAP as a method.

We use supervision as needed.

About you

We are looking for 2 social educators who

• Have experience with documentation and familiarity with Nexus and VUM
• Can plan and structure the effort in collaboration with the citizens and colleagues
• Value professional sparring and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Are curious about people and relationships
• See the relatives as important sparring partners
• Have a driving license for a regular car (required)

Practical info

Working hours: rotating shifts (day/evening) and every 2nd weekend

Hour count: Optional – preferably 30-37 hours per week

Salary and employment: According to applicable collective agreement

Start date: 1 November 2026 (or as soon as possible)
