Social educators and pedagogical assistants for Solbo

We are ambitious and therefore seek social pedagogues and pedagogical assistants with experience who are passionate about joining a project around a vulnerable young person who needs a specialized intervention.

Who are you?

You are authentic, clear, and ambitious.

You are a social pedagogue or pedagogical assistant and want to make a difference for the vulnerable young person. You have experience with what it demands of your professional practice, collaboration and the work environment.

You are able to stay calm – even when the young person is in frustration. The young person needs calm adults who with a mentalizing approach can see beyond the behavior and meet the young person based on the young person’s functional level.

You are the calm adult who can create predictability in the form of structure and recognizability combined with stable relationships in daily life. You have knowledge of what is needed and the belief that you are the one who can make a difference for the young person.

We work with Autism pedagogy, Low Arousal, sensorimotor and alternative communication.

In 2026 we will participate in a development program with Autism focus in Region Midtjylland, where teaching, supervision and reflection become a natural part of everyday life. You will become part of that development from your first day at work.

We have a special focus on ensuring a good introduction with teaching, mentorship, supervision and ongoing follow-up. We work in a practice-oriented way and focus on your learning.

You are the perfect candidate because

• you are educated as a pedagogue or have another relevant education e.g. PAU and have experience with the special area
• you are a passionate person who wants to develop the young person to be able to master their own life and participate in communities in due time
• you believe, like us, that play, nature and movement activities are meaningful factors to give inner calm and well-being. You motivate the young person by actively engaging in interaction and will be outdoors in all kinds of weather.
• you want to work to give the young person the greatest possible influence on their own life through communication systems
• you, based on everyday life, can work targeted and structured with documentation and subgoal work
• you can exercise self-management and are aware of your own professionalism
• you are reliable in attendance
• you perform health-related/care tasks
• you can work regularly every other weekend
• you have a driving license

Salary and employment terms are in line with the applicable collective agreement and local pay formation agreement.

There are 2 positions, 37 hours per week on average with day and evening work, with the possibility of part-time if you wish.

You will also have the opportunity to have working hours with other children and young people.
