About the job

Socialpedagogical or health care professionals and substitutes sought for Skibet – temporary psychiatric service in Sdr. Omme

Are you passionate about working closely with citizens in temporary pathways? And would you like to become part of Skibet – the Municipality of Billund's acute and clarification service for citizens with psychiatric, psychological, dual-diagnosis and/or social issues.

Then it might be you we are looking for!

About Skibet

Skibet is a psychiatric day service, established in January 2022, with a focus on acute support and clarification of citizens' needs and resources. The service is aimed at adults where there is uncertainty about which interventions best support their further process.

We work interdisciplinary and holistically to strengthen citizens' coping abilities and create progression over a shorter period. The goal is that citizens can return home with as little intervention as possible. Skibet serves as a safe stepping stone further – both in acute situations and in clarification processes.

Skibet is located adjacent to Sdr. Omme Nursing Home, which includes both permanent nursing homes and respite housing.

Your tasks

As an employee at Skibet you will become part of a committed interdisciplinary team.

You will have the opportunity to

  • Plan and carry out targeted, development-oriented or maintenance-oriented pedagogical and health-care work – always in close collaboration with the citizen.
  • Support the citizen's current needs and adapt the support effort continuously in collaboration with authorities' advisors.
  • Contribute to creating progression by focusing on the citizen's competencies and development potential.
  • Document your work and use digital solutions in everyday life.
  • Engage in close interdisciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to a positive work environment.

Experience with citizens with psychosocial problems is an advantage but not a requirement.

We emphasize that you

  • Contribute with good humor and a positive approach to collaboration and task solving.
  • Thrive in a day-to-day with varying tasks and take responsibility for a good working environment.
  • Have experience with citizens with psychosocial problems – or be willing to learn more about the area.
  • Can see development potential in citizens and are reflective in your practice.
  • Can see the person behind the behavior and meet citizens with respect and curiosity.
  • Are adaptable and can balance between care, structure and mastery strategies.
  • Are proficient with IT and focused on thorough documentation.
  • Communicate clearly – both orally and in writing.

We offer

  • A daily life in an inspiring and development-oriented team.
  • A work community characterized by presence, co-creation, and involvement.
  • Ongoing supervision.
  • A strong interdisciplinary collaboration with engaged colleagues.
  • A high degree of independence, freedom with responsibility, and the opportunity to influence daily life.
  • Open and informal communication and a focus on a good social community.

Management works from a trust-based, appreciative and proper approach. You will have influence on method choices and on the organization of work in close dialogue with colleagues and management.
