Støttecenteret Magneten is seeking a social-pedagogical facilitator

Støttecenteret is an offering for adult citizens over 30 years in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. Støttecenteret provides support and guidance under §82, §85 and §79/104 to a broad group of citizens living in their own homes, as well as participating in our club activities in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality. The target group includes, among others, citizens with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism, ADHD and dementia. Several of the citizens have additional diagnoses such as anxiety, OCD, substance abuse, etc.

We are looking for a new employee for 37 hours per week as of December 1, 2026, since an employee of 42 years has chosen to retire.

We need an employee who has knowledge within our specialty area, as we have many citizens with many different challenges.

As a guide, you will be required to provide support and guidance in the citizen's own home, in groups and in Støttecenteret's premises. You will work both alone and in close collaboration with colleagues. Guidance currently takes place on weekdays, mainly in the hours 08-20 and weekend work approx. every 5th weekend. The working hours on weekdays are flexible with focus on when the citizens need support, therefore your approach to work is expected to be flexible.

Støttecenteret also contains an activity and social offering, Klub Magneten, and we share a common responsibility to cover this, where you as a starting point have the same fixed club evening each week if you take on the task.

We are, among other things, working on further developing our §85 support to create more group programs based on each citizen's goals and resources. In addition, we work on developing our professional methodological approach, which today draws on KRAP, supplemented with the autism pilot, neuropedagogy, neuropsychology, Low Arousal, Open Dialogue and other professionally relevant methods, and we also offer NADA.

We expect that you

• Have relevant experience with pedagogical work for citizens with special needs
• Have a relevant professional education
• Are able to work flexibly and independently
• Are willing to reflect on your own practice, both alone and with colleagues
• Can distinguish between must and can tasks, and prioritize accordingly
• Contribute to task solving in the unit, and take on your share of the tasks, including practical tasks.
• Participate in citizen-oriented events, excursions and holidays
• Are responsible and loyal to the task solution and agreements
• Willing to share your knowledge

Experience with the following or parts of it would be a plus

• Experience with citizens with Autism/ADHD, anxiety, OCD and/or brain injury
• Know-how of KRAP and Open Dialogue
• Experience with group guidance within the target group
• Experience with teaching

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, and according to principles of local pay setting.

Employment is conditional on a satisfactory criminal record and references.
