Software-/Platform Engineer for the AI Delivery Team – get AI solutions safely into operation

Do you want to build the software and platform that makes AI solutions work in practice? And would you like to work with integrations, automation and operations in on-premises cloud-native environments?

At Netic we are looking for a software-/platform engineer for our new AI delivery team. We will start with concrete workflows where AI can reduce cycle time and rework, increase quality and free up time for our specialists. We expect to run the solutions we establish ourselves. Therefore they must be deployable, monitorable and maintainable from the start.

Build the bridge between AI and day-to-day operations You will become part of a dedicated team with a tech lead and an AI specialist. While the AI specialist works with models and evaluation, you will translate the solutions into services and integrations that work within Netic's systems and workflows. Together you take responsibility for the solutions from development to ongoing operation.

Among your tasks will be

• Develop services and integrations that make AI features usable in concrete workflows.
• Automate tasks and create coherence between models, data and existing systems.
• Build and maintain processes for deployment and updating in on-premises cloud-native environments.
• Establish monitoring, logging and error handling so we can understand and improve the solutions in operation.
• Collaborate with the tech lead and AI specialist on security, performance and solutions that can be maintained over time.
• Resolve production issues and use the experience to make services more stable.

You should be keen on both developing new things and taking responsibility for ensuring it keeps working when others start to use it.

What your toolbox contains We are looking for someone with experience in software development and in getting services safely into production. You can build robust integrations, automate repetitive tasks and work systematically with operation and troubleshooting. You don't need to be an AI specialist, but you should be curious about the technology and the requirements it places on the platform around it.

We expect you to contribute concrete experiences in the following categories

• Software development and APIs, for example with Python and FastAPI, or Go.
• Integrations and asynchronous communication, for example with REST, gRPC, Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Databases and storage, for example with PostgreSQL, OpenSearch and S3-compatible object storage.
• Containerization and operation in cloud-native environments with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Automated testing, deployment and infrastructure, for example with pytest, FluxCD and Terraform.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting, for example with OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Loki and Tempo.
• Security and access management, for example with Keycloak and Vault/OpenBao.

You don't need to know all the technologies we end up using. The most important thing is that you can build services others can rely on, and are eager to develop them together with the team.
