Parish priest in Åby Pastorate, Aarhus Vestre Provsti, Aarhus Stift

The position as a contractually employed parish priest in Åby Parish, Aarhus West Deanery is available for appointment on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The position is a part-time post of 18.5 hours.

The position is a 50% locally funded post, corresponding to 18.5 hours.

As a new parish priest you will receive an introduction programme, where you will have a mentor who guides you through the early period in the office and familiarizes you with the various tasks that a priest has.

Employment and remuneration are governed by the Circular on the collective agreement for Academics in the state

In addition to the base salary, a duty allowance is provided with a rounded base amount as of 31 March 2012 for a full-time position of DKK 43,000.00 annually. For part-time employment the allowance will be calculated in relation to the employment fraction.

You will also receive a special allowance with a rounded base amount as of 31 March 2012 of DKK 11,100.00 annually for a full-time position. For part-time employment the allowance will be calculated in relation to the employment fraction.

The position is covered by the rules on New Salary, therefore it is possible to request a salary negotiation.

There is no service residence attached to the position.
