Solbjerghovedgaard – Chief Accountant

Do you want the overall responsibility for the finance function in an owner-managed group with many companies and great complexity? Then you may be the new Chief Financial Officer at Solbjerghovedgaard Holding ApS in Hjørring.

The position combines operations and development. You must be hands-on in daily finance and at the same time drive the processes that create structure, momentum and a better basis for decision-making for the management.

Your core tasks include

• Overall responsibility for the daily finance function across the group’s companies
• Handling accounting matters concerning approx. 20 lease agreements
• Responsible for the fixed asset register and correct handling of depreciation
• Ensuring correct and timely reconciliation and follow-up across the group’s companies
• Building the group’s financial reporting in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central from scratch
• Establishing regular and timely quarterly reporting to the management
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analyses
• Liquidity management and ongoing financial follow-up
• Consolidation and preparation of accounting materials for audit
• Ongoing dialogue with Deloitte, banks and other external partners
• Optimization and development of workflows and processes in the finance function
• Development of management reporting via Business Central

To be successful in the role you have a relevant financial education and a strong professional understanding of accounting, reconciliations, annual reports and accounting issues across the group of companies. It would be beneficial if you have a background as an auditor. In addition, you have a minimum of five years’ experience in a role as finance or accounting manager, preferably from an owner-managed company, where you have been responsible for both daily financial operations and the ongoing development of the finance function.

In addition you master Danish and English and live within a reasonable driving distance from Hjørring.
