Solbjergskolen seeks Danish and English teacher for middle years

At Solbjergskolen we seek a skilled teacher who will help create a school where both students and adults thrive, develop and succeed together.

Solbjergskolen is a large and well-functioning school in the southern part of Aarhus Municipality with about 900 curious students and a growing pupil population. We work systematically to create participation opportunities for all children – among other things through co-teaching in all classes and a close, professional collaboration.

We are looking for a professionally skilled and committed Danish and English teacher for the middle years.

We are looking for you who

• Has specialization in Danish and English – and preferably HDS.
• Has strong didactic and pedagogical competencies, which are translated into actions that support all students.
• Works in a structured and visually supportive way in your teaching.
• Is engaged, reflective and ready to enter into a close, binding collaboration with colleagues and mentors.
• Creates the framework for open, honest and trustful collaboration with parents.
• Contributes positively to the community and the school's continued development.

This is a permanent full-time position from 1 November or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting occurs after negotiations with the negotiating professional organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary setting
