SOSU Nord seeks an apprenticeship placement consultant

The core task as an apprenticeship consultant is to ensure that our students receive professional support and guidance to complete their education when challenges arise.

At the same time, there is a task to ensure good collaboration with the employers who have our students employed. The student support team services all SOSU Nord’s departments.

You will become part of an engaged team that works to ensure students the best education in cooperation with the contact teacher and the employer.

About the job

We are seeking an apprenticeship consultant who is passionate about making a difference for our students and can navigate a daily life with many diverse tasks and collaborative relationships. You are motivated by structure and have a sense for systematic work, legislation, and thrive with both administrative and relational tasks.

Your primary tasks will be

• Prepare recognition of prior learning and education plans
• Carry out outreach work in relation to apprenticeships
• Ensure an overview of the school's educations and student intake
• Collaborate closely with employers
• Navigate relevant legislation and actively apply it in the cooperation with teachers and external partners
• Share knowledge and advise colleagues on legislation
• Follow developments within SOSU Nord's sector areas
• Participate in holistic assessments and conduct conversations with students, employers and teachers when challenges arise. This requires strong communication skills
• Support and advise students in job searching with SOSU Nord's partner organisations
• Conduct visits to private providers
• Handle study guidance tasks

We expect that you

• Have an interest in legislation in the vocational education area
• Have knowledge of vocational education and preferably with the students' daily life also in training
• Communicate clearly – both in writing and verbally
• Are good at building networks
• See opportunities rather than limitations and are adaptable
• Are service-minded and thrive on providing support to students, colleagues and partners
• Contribute actively to a positive working environment
• Maintain an overview and a good mood – also in busy periods
• Have relevant professional experience, education such as e.g. pedagogue, social worker, or other relevant education or perhaps have a diploma in guidance

Salary and employment terms

The working hours are an average of 37 hours per week and the position is desired to be filled by 1 December 2026

Salary and employment terms according to the circular on the organizational agreement for leaders and teachers at institutions offering vocational education that provides the basic social and health educations (including SOSU schools).

The position will be basic salary placed at step 1 – 3 including centrally agreed teaching allowance. The salary level, for 37 hours per week, ranges between DKK 376,000 - DKK 439,000 annually. In addition comes locally agreed teaching allowance of DKK 16,064 annually and any qualification allowance.

Pension contributions amount to 18.4%.
