SOSU Apprenticeship Supervisor for Billund Municipality

Would you like to have a central role in educating the social and health care workers of the future?

One of our skilled SOSU training supervisors has chosen to seek new challenges, and therefore we are looking for an SOSU training supervisor on a full-time basis for Billund Municipality. You will become part of a dedicated team consisting of five training supervisors who work to create good learning pathways and support the students' well-being, development and completion of the education.

A role in development

Billund Municipality continuously works to strengthen the quality of training for social and health care students. At the same time, the organization of all our student areas is under development and change. As a training supervisor you will have managerial reporting to one of our dedicated operations managers, while also joining a close professional community with the other training supervisors. You will be attached to your own training area, where you will collaborate with local leaders and support our students in completing their education.

Your primary tasks

As a SOSU training supervisor you will be responsible for

• Guide and support students through their apprenticeship
• Collaborate with students, leaders and educational institutions
• Contribute to high quality in the apprenticeship programs, among other things at our joint study days and in reflections with your students
• Support learning, well-being and progression among the students
• Participate in the work with recruitment and retention of students and ensure good coordination and follow-up on student pathways
• Contribute to the development of learning environments and the educational effort in the municipality

We are looking for someone who

• has a health-related background, e.g. as a social and health care assistant or nurse
• has practical experience in the health sector, also preferably from psychiatry
• has experience with training, supervision or educational tasks
• thrives in a role with many collaborative relationships
• can work independently and in a structured way
• is good at building relationships and motivating others
• sees the value in developing future employees in the social and health sector, and would like to go the extra mile to see our students succeed.
