Spar Nord Arena - Aalborg Racecourse IS SEEKING A NEW TRACK MANAGER

As our current track manager wishes to reduce his hours, we are seeking a new one to replace him.

Spar Nord Arena – Aalborg Racecourse is Denmark's most active racecourse with 40 annual racing days. We host both trotting and thoroughbred races on our 18 ha site, and as track manager you will be responsible for ensuring that both our tracks and our area are suitable for both competitions and training. The position is full-time, and our new track manager will work closely with management and three colleagues who help maintain the track and area, ensuring that we maintain a high standard of our sports facilities and surroundings.

Your main tasks will

·To maintain demonstration and training tracks.

·To perform repairs / maintenance on machines and buildings.

·To maintain our green area.

·Other ad hoc tasks.

Your profile: We emphasize that you have experience with tractors, tools and machinery in general. You should have a hands-on approach so that you can perform ongoing repairs without problems.

The entry point to the job could be, for example, machine operator, farmer, greenkeeper, janitor, track staff or active participant.

Because our races are run when others are off work (evening and/or weekend), it is a requirement that you can work on these days.

Full-Time Track Manager – Spar Nord Arena, Aalborg

Spar Nord Arena is seeking a full-time Track Manager to maintain its harness and thoroughbred horse racing tracks, green areas, machinery, and buildings. The ideal candidate has practical skills and experience with tractors and machinery. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required. Experience as a machine operator, farmer, groundskeeper, or track worker is an advantage.
