About the job

We are seeking staff for evening shifts and waking night shifts with fixed, reliable colleagues; we are looking for an independent social- and health care assistant who wants to work with strategies for citizens with acquired brain injury based on a neuro-pedagogical approach.

Working hours are a mix of evening and night shifts depending on what is agreed.

Night duties

You work independently on your own ward, but there are three other colleagues nearby with whom you collaborate or assist regarding health-care decisions. We work based on the residents' individual needs.

The tasks range from attention to somatically ill individuals to personal care to administering medication and pedagogical calming work with residents who are awake. There are few practical tasks.

Evening shift tasks

In addition to everyday rehabilitation, caregiving and care work, there is an important relational work with the residents and their relatives.

We regularly have resident activities that take place outside the building. These can be traditions, trips to the beach, excursions or a cup of coffee on the grass. It requires the ability to plan, motivate and a good relationship with the residents.

You handle medications and update action plans and documentation. In addition, an eye for correct working postures for yourself and colleagues is important in relation to the use of aids.

Together we mentor, teach and introduce both students, colleagues and relatives. Relatives are an important part of the task - they are dealing with a complicated process, and you in collaboration with colleagues should support them.

We offer

You will get an exciting and independent job at a workplace that sees possibilities rather than limitations. We work multidisciplinary and offer development with education and we have strong management support in daily life and good fixed structures.

Your professional and personal profile

We value a positive outlook on life, good collaboration skills and good communicative abilities. You should have an appreciative approach.

  • Educated social- and health care assistant
  • Experience as night shift is desirable
  • Commitment to people with acquired brain injuries
