Do you want to leave your construction technical mark on some of Denmark's most complex industrial and life science projects together with leading technical specialists?

AFRY Industry Buildings delivers services in designing and constructing facilities that support industrial processes such as manufacturing, processing, storage or research. We prioritize Life Science, dairy, food, ingredients and defense sectors.

As Specialist in Constructions you function as a technical reference and sparring partner across projects. You contribute to ensuring high quality in design solutions and support project teams in complex technical decisions. Your responsibilities and tasks will be to

• Provide technical advisory within constructions across projects
• Carry out technical reviews of complex static and structural solutions
• Identify and manage technical risks, interfaces and design challenges
• Support project teams in the selection of construction principles and material solutions
• Contribute to the development of standards, calculation methods, design guides and tools

You will work closely with Design Managers, Discipline Leads, project managers and specialists from, among others, architecture, HVAC, electrical and plumbing to ensure coherent and efficient solutions.

Qualifications

You are an experienced structural engineer with solid technical competencies and a desire to share knowledge across the organization. In addition your background includes

• A degree as Master of Engineering or Diploma Engineer with specialization in constructions
• Solid experience with design of steel, concrete and/or prefabricated structures
• Experience with technical quality assurance and design reviews
• Strong understanding of the interplay between structures, installations and industrial processes
• Ability to translate complex technical problems into practical solutions

As a person you thrive on sharing your knowledge and contributing to the development of both people, methods and technical standards.

It is advantageous if you have experience from industry, production, pharma, life science, food or other regulated environments where quality and documentation are essential.

Work Location

AFRY has 9 locations in Denmark. Your fixed base will be at our offices in Herlev, Herning or Aarhus, depending on your residence.
