Specialist with experience in railway safety

Do you want to navigate the intersection of compliance, risk management and technology, and can you convey complex material in a precise and easy-to-understand way? Then you may be a candidate for one of our two new experienced CSM design lead roles.

The Danish railway is being expanded like never before and as the infrastructure manager, Banedanmark is responsible for safety on the construction projects.

We therefore seek two experienced CSM design leads who can help to prepare the safety documentation for Banedanmark's railway projects. You will work closely with a range of subject matter experts and help ensure that complex safety requirements are translated into clear and usable documentation.

You handle risks and collaborate on CSM-RA across the organization

Together with skilled colleagues you will be an important link between project managers, specialists, external consultants and state and municipal authorities. You help ensure that the projects focus on safety and risk management, and that a high level of safety is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Prepare CSM documentation for Banedanmark's construction projects and ensure that it complies with applicable requirements.
• Advise and support the projects in the various approval processes and contribute the necessary professional input to risk management
• Contribute to the dissemination of best-practice within CSM and risk management at Banedanmark and among our partners – both in written form and through training.
• Contribute to further developing the use of CSM-RA at Banedanmark.

A systematic communicator with experience in CSM-RA

We do not require a specific educational background, but we imagine that you have a long higher education. The most important is that you have experience with CSM documentation and knowledge of railways and its subsystems.

You work in a structured way and have a good overview, so you can see connections across complex problems and act when necessary. You thrive with responsibility and can quickly get into new tasks. At the same time you are motivated by a varied everyday life, where priorities and pace can change along the way.

You will have a broad collaboration interface and will work closely with colleagues, subject specialists, project managers, external consultants and authorities. Therefore it is important that you are good at building relationships and can communicate clearly and constructively with different professional backgrounds and people.

Your workplace will be at our head office centrally in Copenhagen, close to public transport at Dybbølsbro Station.

You will join the CSM Design section, a unit of 15 employees. Here you will become part of a professionally skilled area with many years of experience with CSM and risk management.

Salary and employment terms

If you are an academic, you are employed according to the applicable collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state.

You are placed based on academic seniority and experience as a senior consultant according to the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Authority's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competences there is potential for negotiating a supplement. There will be a employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07% attached.

Otherwise you are employed under the Unified Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S unified agreement) and the organizational agreement for clerical staff, laboratory technicians and IT staff.

The position is in principle placed in salary group 3, scale 4 according to the applicable collective agreement, which you find here and the Employee and Competence Authority's salary overview, which you find here .

Depending on your qualifications and competences there is potential for negotiating a supplement. There will be attached to the total salary an employer-financed pension scheme of 16%.
