Specialist with experience in railway safety

Do you want to navigate the cross section between compliance, risk management and technology, and can you convey complicated material in a precise and easy-to-understand way? Then you may be a candidate for one of our two new experienced CSM design leads.

The Danish railway is expanding like never before in these years and as infrastructure manager Banedanmark is responsible for safety on the construction projects.

We are therefore seeking two experienced CSM design leads who can help develop the safety documentation for Banedanmark's railway projects. You will work closely with a number of subject matter experts and help ensure that complex safety requirements are translated into clear and usable documentation.

You manage risks and collaborate on CSM-RA across the organization

Together with skilled colleagues you will be an important link between project managers, specialists, external advisors as well as state and municipal authorities. You will help ensure that the projects focus on safety and risk management, and that a high level of safety is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Your primary tasks will be to

• Develop CSM documentation for Banedanmark's construction projects and ensure that it complies with current requirements.
• Advise and support the projects in the various approval processes and contribute the necessary professional input to risk management
• Contribute to the communication of best-practice within CSM and risk management at Banedanmark and among our partners – both in written form and through teaching.
• Contribute to further developing the use of CSM-RA in Banedanmark.

Systematic communicator with experience within CSM-RA

We do not require a specific educational background, but we imagine that you have a long higher education degree. The most important is that you have experience with CSM documentation and knowledge of the railway and its subsystems.

You work in a structured way and have a good overview, so you can see connections across complex problems and act when necessary. You thrive with responsibility and can quickly get up to speed on new tasks. At the same time you are motivated by a varied everyday life, where priorities and pace can change along the way.

You will have broad collaboration and will work closely with colleagues, specialists, project managers, external advisors and authorities. Therefore it is important that you are good at building relationships and can communicate clearly and constructively with different professional groups and people.

Your workplace will be at our headquarters in central Copenhagen, close to public transport at Dybbølsbro Station.

You will be part of the CSM Design section, a unit of 15 employees. Here you will be part of a professionally skilled area with many years of experience with CSM and risk management.

Salary and employment terms

If you are an academic, you are employed under the current agreement between the Ministry of Finance and a number of academic associations for academics in the state sector.

You will be placed based on academic seniority and experience as a senior consultant in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, which you can find here and the Employees and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiation of an allowance. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 18.07% attached.

Otherwise you will be employed under the current Common Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The State Sector (OAO-S Common Agreement) and the organizational agreement for office workers, laboratory technicians and IT employees.

The position is as a starting point placed in salary grade 3, step 4 according to the applicable collective agreement, which you can find here and the Employees and Competence Agency's salary overview, which you can find here.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies there is a possibility for negotiation of an allowance. There will be an employer-financed pension scheme of 16% attached to the total salary.
