About the job

Do you want to join the team? Do you want to help create safe and sustainable solutions in some of Denmark's most exciting water projects? Are you interested in machine safety and CE marking and would you like to develop in a professionally strong and social environment? Then Envidan might be the right place for you. Envidan – advisory with heart and high professionalism

At Envidan we work exclusively with water – and that makes us one of the country’s leading specialists within the water cycle. We are a consultancy engineering company with over 500 dedicated colleagues, combining technical expertise with empathy, integrity and a strong culture where we help each other.

We believe that the best solutions arise in collaboration – and we invest in both professional development and human relationships. Here there is room to be curious, ask questions and contribute with your perspectives.

Your new job

You will become part of our Risk and Safety Team, which works specialized with machine safety, CE marking, ATEX and technical legislation. The team is anchored in our wastewater treatment plant department, but you will work across all of Envidan Denmark with projects within treatment plants, pumping stations, waterworks and biogas plants.

Your tasks include, among others

  • CE marking and safety review of existing and new facilities
  • Advise on CE marking, machine safety and legislation
  • Risk assessments and safety instructions for machines
  • Document and build a technical dossier for machines
  • Specify and validate emergency stop and safety functions
  • ATEX zone classification and ATEX-LO/APV

Regardless of your level you will have the opportunity to develop professionally through education and sparring with some of the industry’s most skilled colleagues.

Who are you?

You have a technical background – for example as an electrician/installateur, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer or machinery engineer. You have at minimum worked within the safety area for a couple of years, preferably more: you thrive with responsibility, written communication and interpretation of laws and standards. You are curious and have the courage to challenge the “usual” – with respect and professionalism. If you have experience with ATEX zone classification and ATEX-APV, that is an advantage but not a requirement.

A place where you are seen and heard

In Risk and Safety our working philosophy is built on a number of clear principles: We are pragmatic, conscientious and open to different solutions – but we never compromise on the minimum level of safety. We see ourselves as a professional playing partner in the projects – not as inspectors, but as a service body that contributes constructively to finding the best solutions.

We work concretely and clearly. We prioritise clear communication and document our work so that it is always clear what is required to create safe facilities and machines.

Input from other disciplines and the users of the facilities is a central part of our work: risk assessments are not only desk work, but build on practical experience and cross-disciplinary insight.

We have a strong focus on knowledge sharing and professional development. We spar with each other, reuse good solutions and are open about mistakes so we can learn from them. We know that safety first is achieved when the solutions are not only described correctly but also implemented correctly in practice.

We have offices in both Aalborg, Silkeborg, Aarhus, Odense, Kastrup and Lyngby, so we are looking for a profile that will base at one of these offices, depending on what suits you best. In addition, there is the possibility of remote/hom e-office days.
