Specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry – 1-4 days and flexible schedule

At the Institute for Mental Health we are seeking a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for our clinics in Aarhus and Hellerup.

You can work 1, 2, 3 or 4 days per week and you will have great influence over both the calendar, the organization of the workday, and the number of patient pathways.

About the clinics

We are seeking a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry for both Aarhus and Hellerup. You will be affiliated with the clinic you apply to, and it is not a prerequisite that you work at both locations.

The Aarhus clinic has good accessibility and its own consulting room. In Hellerup we also have good and professional frameworks for patient treatment as well as our own consulting room.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary environment consisting of a psychiatrist, a clinical psychologist, and a medical secretary.

Our patients are primarily referred from insurance and pension companies as well as self-payers. We work especially with assessment and treatment of ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression.

Your primary tasks

• Assessment and treatment of patients with ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression
• Preparation of documentation including charting, discharge letters and relevant certificates
• Possibility to work with a broader spectrum of diagnoses according to interest, particularly among self-payers

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry with Danish authorization
• Can conduct psychiatric interviews and manage charting at a high professional level in Danish
• Has experience with assessment and treatment of patients within ADHD/ADD, stress, anxiety and depression
• Is approachable and thrives in multidisciplinary collaboration, including with psychologists
• Can see themselves in a structured and professional collaboration with insurance and pension companies
