SSA students January 2027

Do you enjoy helping others, and are you interested in people and health? Would you like to undertake a useful and practical education at a workplace with a strong sense of community? Then you might be interested in becoming our next social and health care assistant apprentice!

Lolland Municipality is seeking social and health care assistant apprentices to start on January 11, 2027.

You will be trained to plan, perform and coordinate complex nursing-related issues, such as medication administration, providing tube feeding, caring for chronic wounds, etc. The workday is very varied and may include basic nursing and rehabilitation in the citizen's own home or in the local health care system.

The education includes periods of on-the-job training at municipal training sites and at the hospital in Nykøbing Falster, as well as in either social or regional psychiatry.

The school portion takes place at SOSU School in Nykøbing F.

Admission requirements

Completed GF2 either towards the SSA or PA education. Or completed upper secondary education.

Passed mathematics at least at 9th grade level.

We expect you to

• Be friendly.

• Have good teamwork skills.
• Be flexible and reliable in attendance.
• Be physically and mentally robust.
• Can cycle.
• Have a valid driving license for a regular car.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and based on local wage-setting principles.

You may be eligible for adult apprentice pay if you are 25 years or older. If you are under 25 you will receive apprentice pay.

Apprentice pay (under 25) is DKK 15,740 per month before tax in the first year. After the first year, apprentice pay is DKK 17,932 per month before tax.

Adult apprentice pay (over 25) is DKK 24,991 per month before tax.

From 1 April 2027, all apprentices will earn a pension of 6% from age 18.

Ordinary apprentices accrue pension after 6 months, while adult apprentices accrue pension from the first day.

A criminal record check must be submitted for applicants who are offered an apprenticeship.

Lolland Municipality hires based on an overall assessment of competencies, education, previous jobs, references, and whether you have written a good and motivated application. Please attach documentation of your exams and experiences.
