We are seeking talented and education-ready students for an exciting SOSU education, with wages during training and an apprenticeship placement. STARTING on 11-01-2027

✨ The SSA education is for you who want to help shape the care of the future and create new opportunities for people at all stages of life. You will become a central driving force in the integrated citizen- and patient journey, where you, with strong professional competencies and a sharp clinical eye, help ensure quality, dignity and wholeness in care.

You will not only learn to provide support, care and professional nursing – you will learn to see the person behind the need and create security, presence and development in their daily life. As an SSA you become a key person in a health system in change, where you contribute to bridging between professions, strengthening coherence in forløb and creating solutions that make a real difference for both citizens, relatives and society.

We offer

• There is a guarantee of apprenticeship placement throughout the training (you do not have to apply for this yourself)

• That you are assigned a daily supervisor when you are in training. The daily supervisor will follow you in your daily work during the training.
• That you are also assigned an educational supervisor with whom you collaborate during your training period. The educational supervisor will coordinate your progress when you are in training, and meet you for individual guidance conversations

We expect

SOSU-education is both exciting and demanding – both theoretically and in practice.

Therefore it is important that you are ready to learn and take your education seriously, both in school and during training.

We expect that you have the personal and social competencies required to work with people – especially in health and care.

Admission is not dependent on you having, for example, a driver's license or car, but it is a prerequisite that you can transport yourself in other ways when you are in training or traveling to and from school/training.

That you are willing to start training at 7 a.m. during the training period, including weekends. You can expect to have to work on weekends in accordance with FOA’s agreement for students.

Additionally you must of course

• Be interested in working with people and learning new things
• Have good collaboration skills, as you will meet many different people throughout your education
• Be flexible and reliable
• Be physically and mentally robust

Admission requirements

• Completed foundation course 2 (with documentation)
• A gymnasium diploma, a passed PAU-basic course or a certificate for the full PAU education also provides access to the education. (with documentation)
• That you hold a valid work and residence permit if you are not a Danish citizen (with documentation)
• A satisfactory criminal record, which is obtained in connection with potential employment.

In addition you should attach a CV, where you describe your educational background, previous work experience, hobbies and similar.

Employment terms

Salary

You will be employed for 37 hours per week, and you will receive apprentice wages throughout the training in accordance with the applicable agreement between KL and FOA – Fag og Arbejde.

As a rule you will be paid the regular apprentice wage. If you are 25 years old or older, you will be paid as an adult apprentice in Guldborgsund Municipality.

The education alternates between training and school. Guldborgsund Municipality cooperates and exchanges relevant information with the SOSU school Nykøbing F.

The information is registered on Praktikpladsen.dk and transferred to the Data Warehouse in the Agency for IT and Learning. The information is collected solely for statistical purposes. The registered data are not visible to you or the public. The collection of these data takes place under the authority of §58 in the Regulation on Vocational Education.
