In Næstved Municipality we work in small, stable multidisciplinary teams based on the new elderly care act. We believe that the best quality is created when we work closely together, share our knowledge and actively use our various professional disciplines.

As a SSA with us you will be an important professional in the team around the citizens. You will have the opportunity to use your entire professional skill set and help create coherence, quality and security in the citizens' daily lives.

We work holistically and rehabilitatively with a focus on each citizen's wishes, resources and quality of life. Together we create meaningful everyday lives, where care, nursing, health, rehabilitation and activity go hand in hand.

Your tasks

As a social- and health care assistant you will be a central professional in the team around the citizens. Your tasks will include:

• provide care and complex health-care tasks based on the citizen's needs, wishes and resources
• work rehabilitative and preventive with a focus on preserving citizens' functional ability and quality of life
• observe, document and follow up on citizens' health status and interventions
• participate in triage and cross-disciplinary sparring
• advise and support citizens, relatives, colleagues, interns and students
• contribute to activities, knowledge sharing and development of our professional practice
• actively contribute to a strong interprofessional collaboration and try welfare technology solutions when they create value for the citizens.

We are seeking a SSA who

• is educated as a social- and health care assistant and has Danish authorization
• is eager to work with the citizen group and sees opportunities rather than limitations
• works rehabilitative and actively brings in their health professional expertise
• can work in a structured way and maintain an overview in a varied daily life
• is curious, proactive and eager to develop both yourself and our joint practice
• communicates appreciatively and contributes to a good cross-disciplinary work community.

Experience from health and elderly care is an advantage, but the most important thing is that you want to work with people, bring your professional expertise into play and be an active part of our work community.

Practical information

The position is for 37 hours per week . The weekly hours can be negotiated.

Working hours are planned in the team based on the citizens' needs.

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable agreement between KL and FOA.
