As a person you should be good at taking responsibility, structuring and planning your workday, distributing and taking responsibility for tasks during the shift together with your colleagues and following up on initiatives and measures with the residents. In addition YOU MUST be helpful, kind, have good teamwork skills and a positive attitude to your work.

You will be attached to a department in the house, but from the start of your employment you must be prepared to be able to work throughout the house as needed.

Who are we

Stævnhøj Nursing Home is located in Taulov surrounded by a lovely garden and beautiful nature. We have 52 permanent nursing homes and 6 respite homes. Our residents are citizens who have been granted a nursing home, and they come from all of Fredericia Municipality. 42 of the apartments are reserved for residents with dementia.

We have nurses, social- and health care assistants. We would like to expand this staff so we have enough resources to create and maintain the development that is needed. We would like to give our residents a wonderful old age where all their needs can be met. In addition we have many qualified house assistants, flex workers and unskilled employed in the house, whom you will have the opportunity to work with in daily life around the residents.

At Stævnhøj we work with the resident in the center. It is us who are here for the citizen's sake. We work from the principles that residents should have the best possible everyday life according to their condition, individual wishes, motivation and needs. We have for the great joy of our residents cats, fish and rabbits which we, with everyone's help, involve in our everyday life.

We started in March 2023 with the EDEN approach, which you will become part of. EDEN is an approach to prevent Loneliness, Boredom and Helplessness among our residents.

Salary and employment conditions

In accordance with applicable agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Upon employment references will be requested.

Criminal record

Upon employment a criminal record check is obtained. The employment is conditional on the criminal record being free of any markings of significance for the performance of the specific position.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

Positions are 37 hours. According to the municipality's personnel policy there can be dialogue about individual wishes for flexibility in working hours and arrangement of work.

We are seeking staff for both day and evening shifts. In both positions there is weekend work.
