Are you a Social- and Health Care Helper, and is your heart in holistic care for vulnerable elderly citizens? Then we need you in our evening shift team.

We are a municipality in rapid development, and like the rest of the country we have more, particularly elderly and complex citizens, who need our care, support and assistance.

As a social- and health care helper in the evening you will participate in the daily holistic care and task execution for the citizens, where our core task is to create quality of life and a good everyday life.

We are seeking a new colleague who

• Can relate to all citizens in all life phases and life conditions
• Can create positive relationships with both citizens and colleagues
• Can maintain an overview – also in pressured or conflict-filled situations
• Has a positive attitude to everyday work and contributes to creating a good working environment
• Is proactive and engaged
• Is professionally curious and passionate about the profession
• Is familiar with IT and uses it actively as a documentation tool – familiarity with CURA is an advantage

We offer

• 28 hours/week with weekend shift every 2nd weekend in a 7/7 arrangement. Attendance in Faxe.
• A thorough introduction, where you will be assigned a Buddy colleague who will help you onboard smoothly. There will be a one-month conversation with your supervisor, so you together can follow up on how the start has been.
• A thorough introduction to our documentation system CURA

About us

The home care in Faxe Municipality is divided into four geographic districts in the municipality. We know that professional quality does not happen by itself, but is developed through collaboration, training and good leadership, therefore each district consists of a good mix of SSH, SSA, nurses, planners, professional coordinator, occupational therapist and each has their daily manager attached.

We meet in the districts at the start of the shift, where we coordinate tasks according to our professional competencies before we go out to the citizens. We meet for professional discussions at triage meetings, and we eat together.

We are self-planning, meaning that each employee has influence over their route, in consultation with other colleagues.

We believe that when employees have greater influence and co-responsibility, it leads to better quality for the citizen and greater well-being in the work community.

Start date 1/1-2027 – or as soon as possible.
