Would you like to train in a health profession where you work with people with physical and social difficulties? Then the vocational education as a social- and health assistant is for you!

You will be trained to provide assistance, care and support to people who need personal and practical help in their own home or at a nursing home.

The training takes place in Elderly & Health, in the Unit Personal and Practical Help, which includes nursing homes and outreach teams.

School periods take place either in Nakskov or in Nykøbing F.

Start of training is January 11, 2027 .

Admission requirements

Completed GF2 either towards SSH or PA education. Or completed upper secondary education.

We expect from you

• That you are accommodating.
• That you are interested in working with people, providing care and learning new things.
• That you have good cooperation skills.
• That you are flexible and reliable.
• That you are physically and mentally robust.
• That you can cycle.
• That you have a valid driving license for a normal passenger car.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and according to the principles of local wage formation.

You have the possibility to receive an adult apprentice wage if you are over 25 years old. If you are under 25 you will receive an apprentice wage.

The apprentice wage (under 25) amounts to kr. 14,250 per month before tax.

The adult apprentice wage (over 25) amounts to kr. 24,991 per month before tax.

From 1 April 2027 all apprentices receive a pension of 6% from age 18.

Ordinary apprentices accrue pension after 6 months, while adult apprentices accrue pension from day one.

Background checks must be submitted for applicants offered an apprentice position.

Lolland Municipality hires based on an overall assessment in relation to competencies, schooling, previous jobs, references, and whether you have written a good and motivated application. Please attach documentation of your exams and experiences.
