About the job

Do you enjoy being part of change and development?

Do you want to be part of a warm and strong community where we lift as a team and together create good conditions for our citizens?

Then it might be you we are looking for!

We are looking for two engaged and professionally curious SSH/SSA who want to make a difference for citizens with different needs while also helping to shape a new municipal initiative.

We offer

  • 28 hours per week
  • Fixed night shift for 7 days, Monday to Monday, in even or odd weeks from 23:00 to 07:00
  • Weekend shift every 2nd weekend
  • Commencement 1 December 2026

The first two weeks of December you should expect training for both day and night shifts. You start at the Rehabilitation Center Toften in Munkebo, where we have 28 places.

We expect that 12 of the 28 places will move to Rynkeby by mid-December 2026, where they will become municipal temporary placements. Here you will subsequently be part of the team.

Why is this happening?

From 1 January 2027, the organization of temporary placements in the municipality will change as a result of the health reform.

The Region will take over 14 of the current placements and is expected to expand to 26 placements in time.

Kerteminde Municipality will continue to have 12 municipal temporary placements in Rynkeby.

At night you will work together with an SSA colleague in the 12 temporary placements.

Once we are well established in the new surroundings, you should expect that part of the working time will also take place at citizens’ homes, together with outreach home care.

This means you will have the opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and help develop the new way of working.

  • Relief/Respite program – support for citizens and relatives

With us we work closely across professions. Our team includes social and health care assistants (SSA), nurses, occupational and physiotherapists, SSH, service assistants and work planners.

We also act as a training site for SSA students and nursing students, where professional sparring, curiosity, and learning are a natural part of everyday life.

Who will we be from 1 January 2027?

  • Respite stays – temporary support for citizens and relatives

We will have nurses on weekdays and both SSA and SSH on all shifts.

You will therefore be an important part of a team that together will help create the new everyday life around the municipal temporary placements.
