A technical key person with the possibility of eventually taking on the overall responsibility for our servo department .

Syd Elektro ApS seeks a responsible and development-oriented employee who wants to become a key part of our continued development, and eventually take on the overall responsibility for our servo department.

We are not necessarily looking for a specific education. The most important thing is that you have technical understanding, a sense for automation and an interest in mechanical repairs, and that you are not afraid to dig into a fault until the solution is found.

Who are you?

You are solution-oriented and thrive with technical challenges where the answer is not always in the manual.

You can keep a cool head when things get fast, and the customer has a machine that needs to run again. At the same time, you can handle several tasks without losing perspective.

It is also important that you enjoy customer contact. The job is not only about repair. You must be able to engage in technical dialogue with the customer, understand the needs and advise on the best solution – both technically and economically.

We imagine that you

• have experience with or great interest in automation, servo and industrial electronics
• have an understanding of mechanics and mechanical repairs
• enjoy customer contact and can explain technical solutions in an understandable way
• are curious and want to continually develop your skills
• work in a structured way and take responsibility
• are strong at troubleshooting and think in terms of solutions rather than limitations
• an independent person and at the same time a team player
• can keep an overview when things are moving fast

Your opportunity with us

The position is intended to be more than an ordinary technician job. For the right person, the goal is that you will eventually take over overall responsibility for our servo department and contribute to developing the area both technically and commercially. You will, among other things, work with troubleshooting, testing and repair of servo motors, encoders, resolvers, electronics and related mechanical components.

An important part of the job will be the contact with our customers. You must be able to follow a task from the first dialogue and troubleshooting to advising, choosing a solution and completing the repair.

We do not expect that you can do everything from day one. Instead, we expect that you have the desire and ability to learn, take responsibility and develop together with the company.

Who will your colleagues be?

At Syd Elektro you will be part of a team – not a department that stands alone. We have different professional backgrounds and experiences within, among other things, electric motors, mechanics, automation, servo, machining and industrial service. Therefore we can draw on each other’s knowledge when a task requires more than one area of expertise.

We have an informal everyday life, where there is not a long way from idea to action. We help each other, brainstorm on tasks and find solutions together, but there is also room for independence and taking responsibility for one’s own area.

Some days go as planned. Others do not. When a customer faces an acute production stop, we must be able to adapt and lift as a team. Therefore cooperation, good humor and the willingness to lend a hand to a colleague mean a lot to us.

Who is Syd Elektro?

Syd Elektro ApS has its roots in the traditional electro-mechanical workshop, and solid craftsmanship is still the foundation of our company.

But the industry has changed, and so have we. In recent years, we have invested substantial resources in new equipment, new competencies and modern technology. Today we work, among other things, with electric motors, gears, pumps, servo motors, automation, balancing, vibration measurement and industrial service tasks.

Our work is therefore not only about repairing when something breaks. We also help our customers prevent breakdowns, optimize their plants and detect faults before they develop into expensive production stops.

We combine classic electro-mechanical craftsmanship with modern measuring equipment, condition monitoring, automation and specialized fault finding.

We build on the craft we come from, but invest in the technology and knowledge our customers will need tomorrow.
